Singletrack Health Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Your health and fitness data is private. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for purposes beyond operating the app.

1. Who We Are

Singletrack Health is an iOS and Apple Watch app for tracking cycling, running, walking, and other fitness activities. The app is developed by David Ham. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@singletrack.health.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data needed to provide the app's features:

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

4. Data Storage and Sync

Your private data — rides, goals, profile, and routes — is stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit private database. Only you can access this data. It syncs automatically across all your Apple devices signed in to the same Apple ID.

Social data you choose to make public (your handle, public activities, follow relationships) is stored in CloudKit's public database and is accessible to other users of the app.

Your health data in Apple HealthKit is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and remains on your device and iCloud account.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data with the following parties only as necessary to operate the app:

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

6. HealthKit Data

Singletrack Health requests access to Apple HealthKit to read and write workout data, heart rate, location routes, steps, and calories. This data is used exclusively within the app to display your fitness history and is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.

You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Singletrack Health.

7. Location Data

Location access is requested when you start a workout or open the Activity screen. We use precise location to record your route and calculate distance. Location is not collected in the background except during an active recording session, which is indicated by the blue location indicator in the iOS status bar.

You can manage location permissions at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Singletrack Health.

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your rides, goals, profile, and social data from CloudKit.

If you are unable to delete your data through the app, email support@singletrack.health and we will process your deletion request within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Singletrack Health is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
